Use mainly examples and illustrations to show students how Mathematics and Science questions are always "classified" into definite types and the technique to solve each of these different categories of questions. I walk students through important concepts and the big take-home messages for each chapter in every subject that I teach. In addition, I also explain how each of these concepts are linked in the entire Maths/Science syllabus (especially Pure Chemistry), so as to prepare students for integrated questions. I also emphasize on a lot of hands-on practice (past year papers, ten-year series etc) because I believe that students need plenty of exposure to questions, including the fine-tuning of answering techniques, so that the real exam can be adeptly dealt with.
Achieved results: grades improvement, especially apparent in failing students who managed to eventually pass with moderate to good grades. I can handle slower learners.
