I have been teaching English as a second language since 1995. My basic approach in teaching English Grammar enables my students to construct grammatically correct English compositions. The lessons I give in Speech enable my students to read and speak English articulately and fluently as well. I completed my master's degree in teaching English in March 2006. Although I was not born a native speaker of English, the speech courses I took up in college ensured my fluency in the use of the English language.
My fourth year students who graduated from high school only last March obtained high percentile rank in the National Career Assessment Test given them by the Department of Education. Two of my students got +99 percentile rank in Reading Comprehension. The others got 96, 95, 92, 90, 88 percentile rank. In Verbal ability, the highest percentile rank achieved by one of my students was 98 percentile rank, followed by 97 percentile rank and so on.
I work with a great sense of dedication and commitment. I see to it that the weaknesses of my students in using the English Language are properly addressed and remedied.
