Experienced EL Teacher
I am an ex-school teacher with 5 years experience in both neighbourhood and in dependant schools. I have taught EL in both lower and upper secondaries. I have also tutored at primary levels. I believe in traditional drilling methods as well as exposure to good language in both print and aural forms. In this way, the learner is able to see and hear what good language is and is therefore more able to reproduce it in their writing and speaking. My classes have done well with more than 80% distinction in EL.
